The HCMC Department of Education and Training held the final round of the 5th contest “Students with startup ideas”. The contest’s Preliminary Round took place from December 19, 2022 to January 10, 2023
The contest is an opportunity for students to experience and compete with startup projects, promote entrepreneurship and equip students with knowledge and skills about entrepreneurship. From those ideas, students can realize and find solutions to create good values for the community and society.
Participating in the contest, Lawrence S. Ting School’s team won 3rd prize at City level. Starting from the desire to improve the reading culture in the community and as young people who love books, the students of Lawrence S. Ting School brought to the competition the coRead Application – An application to encourage reading for Vietnamese people. With convenient advantages, youthful design, the application has many unique features such as: challenges, games, fun tests, rewards … to encourage reading.
The Lawrence S. Ting School‘s team and 4 winning teams will be trained to complete the project, representing HCMC students to participate in the national competition at the end of March 2023.
