On December 29, 2023, Phu My Hung organized a meeting to review the security, order, and fire prevention situation in Phu My Hung City Center for the year 2023. Highlighting the positive outcomes achieved, Phu My Hung expressed its plan to further invest in and deploy advanced technological equipment systems to enhance security and order maintenance in the future.
The meeting was attended by additional representatives from various units, including the Ho Chi Minh City Police, District 7 Police, District 7 Military Command, District 7 Urban Order Management Department, leaders of Tan Phong and Tan Phu Wards, police from Tan Phong, Tan Phu, Tan Thuan Tay, and Binh Thuan Wards, Saigon South Traffic Police Team, Da Phuoc Traffic Police Team, the Fire Protection Team of Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone, and security service companies in the city center.
In 2023, positive results were evident in the security and fire prevention situation in the city center. Specifically, there were 31 incidents, a decrease of 6 compared to the previous year, with thefts (18 cases) being the most prevalent, involving assets such as motorbikes, bicycles, phones, and car rearview mirrors. The Phu My Hung security force promptly detected 14 out of 18 theft cases, handed over 20 suspects and numerous stolen items to the police.
Regarding fire prevention, there were no major fires in Phu My Hung in 2023. However, the number of small fires increased to 10, up by 7 compared to the previous year, mostly arising from electrical short circuits and cooking accidents. The Phu My Hung Security Team’s Fire Prevention Team organized 59 fire prevention and rescue drills at apartment complexes and office buildings, including large-scale exercises with the participation and coordination of various forces.
The notable highlight of Phu My Hung Corporation’s security and fire prevention efforts in the past year was the effective use of modern technological equipment systems. An exemplary instance is the “magic eye” camera system comprising more than 4,000 units, including specialized cameras employing high technology, contributing significantly to the detection and warning of security and order violations in the city center.
Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Dinh Thach, Deputy Head of District 7 Police, acknowledged and commended Phu My Hung’s efforts in maintaining security and fire prevention. He also praised the company’s investment in equipping and upgrading modern equipment and technology, actively supporting activities to maintain security and order in the area. Mr. Thach directed the professional teams of District 7 Police to continue closely coordinating with Phu My Hung, following the coordination regulations on security and fire prevention signed by both parties in April 2021.
Mr. Truong Quoc Hung, Vice President of Phu My Hung, expressed the company’s plan to continuing close coordination with functional agencies and local authorities. He emphasized the intention to enhance investment, upgrade surveillance camera systems, increase specialized cameras, and implement virtual fence networks to effectively leverage technology in maintaining security and fire prevention in the city center in the future.
