Last weekend, Phu My Hung organized a conference summarizing the situation of security, order, and fire prevention and fighting in Phu My Hung City Center for the first six months of 2024. Attending the conference were representatives from the following units: HCMC Police; District 7 Police; District 7 Urban Order Management Department; Leaders of Tan Phong and Tan Phu Wards; Police from Tan Phong, Tan Phu, Tan Thuan Tay, and Binh Thuan Wards; Saigon South Traffic Police Team; Da Phuoc Traffic Police Team; Fire Protection and Fighting Team of Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone; and security service companies in the city center.
According to the report from Phu My Hung Security Team, over the past six months, the security and fire prevention and fighting situation in the city center has shown positive results. Specifically, the Phu My Hung Security Team coordinated with authorities to catch 8 out of 9 theft cases and 1 robbery case, and temporarily detained and handed over many suspects and exhibits to the police.
Regarding fire prevention and fighting, the Phu My Hung Security Team recorded 2 fires (caused by electrical short circuits), which is 4 fewer incidents compared to the same period last year. Both cases were detected and handled promptly, preventing major damage. The team organized 13 fire prevention drills in buildings, apartment complexes, and neighborhoods in the city center. In May 2024, the Phu My Hung Security Team also organized the “2024 Fire Fighting Team Technical Contest”, with 6 teams, to improve fire prevention skills and operations for officers and security personnel.
In the first half of 2024, Phu My Hung has continued to invest in, upgrade, and apply many new technologies to the surveillance camera system. This has not only significantly contributed to ensuring security and order in the city center but has also actively supported authorities in retrieving data on security and order violations in neighboring areas. Specifically, in the past 6 months, the Surveillance Center of the Phu My Hung Security Team has supported and provided data to the security forces of HCMC, District 7, and Nha Be County to search for, detect, and arrest suspects in 7 cases of theft, robbery, and others.
