Thanh Hung Stir-fried Noodles has recently inaugurated a new branch at 126 Ha Huy Tap, in the Phu My Hung City Center, Tan Phong Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. This new location offers a fresh culinary experience for food enthusiasts.
Stir-fried vermicelli, also known as fresh seafood vermicelli, is a signature dish from the pearl island of Phu Quoc. The unique element of this dish is the fresh vermicelli noodles crafted from rice flour. The term “fresh vermicelli” is used because the chef begins to press the vermicelli into strands and boil them in hot water right at the restaurant when a customer places an order. The entire process, from pressing the vermicelli to serving it to the customer, takes less than 5 minutes. As a result, the vermicelli noodles retain their freshness, offering a chewy and clear texture.
Besides fresh vermicelli, the mixed vermicelli bowl also incorporates shrimp cakes, fresh fish cakes, squid, and beef, all of which are chosen from fresh ingredients. The broth is derived from the boiling water of the vermicelli, resulting in a milky white color with a subtle aroma and sweetness of rice. The stir-fried vermicelli has a delightful sweetness and is served with green onions, raw vegetables, and an accompanying dipping sauce.
