On September 21, 2024, Phu My Hung Corporation and Lawrence S. Ting Foundation will organize The 22nd Lawrence S. Ting Scholarship Awards and Donation Presentation of 2024” at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.
This year, the Lawrence S. Ting Foundation will award 201 scholarships with a total value of VND 2.419 billion to students with good academic achievements and community spirit from high schools, colleges, and universities nationwide. Each scholarship for university students is valued at VND 14 million per year, and for high school students, it is VND 6.3 million per year.
Additionally, through the Lawrence S. Ting Foundation, Phu My Hung Corporation will award VND 5.74 billion in scholarships to various funds, charitable organizations, and study promotion associations in 63 provinces and cities across the country to distribute scholarships locally.
Over the past 19 years, Phu My Hung Corporation and the Lawrence S. Ting Foundation have awarded more than VND 174 billion in scholarships to students overcoming difficulties, ethnic minority children, disabled children, orphans, etc., to support them in continuing their education, enhancing their abilities, and contributing to nurturing talents for Vietnam.
